**Instructions:**
1. **Preparation:**
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the onion and mushrooms.
- Pat the steak dry with paper towels.
2. **Seasoning:**
- Rub the steak with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add thyme if desired.
3. **Cooking Steak:**
